DAVENPORT, IOWA (AP) -- A former Scott County judge facing federal fraud charges plans to change his plea during a hearing this week.

Kyle Williamson, of Bettendorf, faces six federal charges including bank fraud, aggravated identity theft and forged securities. He was arrested in June by FBI agents.

According to the federal indictment, authorities say that Williamson's alleged scheme spanned from November 2007 to January 2008 and involved him lying about filing a wrongful termination lawsuit and fraudulently obtaining loans.

The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Details of a possible plea deal weren't immediately available.

Williamson resigned as an associate court judge in September.
