CONCORD, IL -- Another followup to the November 4, 2008 election. Voters in three school districts in Western Illinois have said no to a proposed merger. Voters in the Virginia School District, the Meredosia Chembersburg School District and the Concord Triopia School District were asked to approve a three way merger.
Voters in all three districts had to say yes for the measure to pass. Voters in Virginia and Meredosia Chambersburg said yes, while voters in Concord Triopia said no.
KHQA is going to those districts today to see what kind of reaction there is from local school district officials.
We'll bring you that story later today.
