Ceremony held in Honolulu across from sunken USS Arizona
HONOLULU, HI -- More than 2,000 World War II veterans and other observers commemorated the 67th anniversary of the devastating Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
In 1941 hundreds of Japanese planes began raining bombs and torpedoes onto Oahu's U.S. military ships and planes.
A ceremony was held Sunday morning at 7:55am, the moment of the attack in Honolulu across from the sunken USS Arizona.
This year's remembrance ceremony focused on the aftermath, including the B-52 bomber raid on Tokyo led by Lt. Col. James H. Doolittle.
