The Samantha Otte Youth Opportunity fund presented another round of grant awards.
Samantha's mother June Otte presented the checks Tuesday morning.
Twelve different youth oriented agencies received awards totaling more than 21 thousand dollars
Some of the agencies that are included in that list are Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Adams County, the Quincy Community Theatre and the Jackson Lincoln Swimming Complex.
Also included in that list is the Quincy YWCA where part of the money will be used to buy running shoes for their Running and Leadership Academy for Girls.
The fund is named after Samantha Otte who died at the age of 12 in March of 2000 after a liver transplant. Since it's creation the group has give out more than 137 thousand dollars.
