A one-car accident in Quincy just before noon today sent one woman to the hospital.

Police and firefighters were called to the 36th and State area, for a report of a one-car  crash.

Police say the woman in the car, struck a utility pole and had to be cut out of her car.

The woman's name is has not yet been released. But her  injuries aren't considered life threatening.
