QUINCY, IL -- Sports fans flocked to the Quincy Mall this weekend for the 21st Annual Baseball Card and Memorabilia Show.
But there was a special treat for fans of this American past time.
Former St. Louis Cardinal Pitcher and All-Star Woody Williams highlighted the event signing autographs.
It was also the first year the Mall paired with a non-profit organization.
The mall donated $3,000 dollars to the Blue Ryno Foundation.
This foundation helps provide funding to families with children suffering from critical to terminal cancer.
This event wasn't about finding a rare card, or getting an autograph... it was also about supporting a good cause.
Justen Arnold asked Wwoody WIlliams, "Why do you feel it's important to come out in your free time to help a charitable organization like this in the Quincy community?"
"It's always nice to give back. Baseball was good to me, the fans here in Missouri and Illinois always supported me and my family and it is something that's left a mark in our lives and that we'll never forget. And then on top of that when you have the opportunity to give back to charity and something so special as the Blue Ryno Foundation it's always a good thing to do."
KHMO-KICK-FM, and Quincy Mall sponsored the event.
The card and memorabilia show goes through tomorrow.
