The cost of gasoline isn't the only item that's dropped within the past few months.
Fertilizer prices are starting to fall at the wholesale level.
That's according to an American Farm Bureau Federation report.
It states the drop in fertilizer prices comes after increasing for six years.
An economist with the American Farm Bureau says wholesale prices began to drop about two months ago.
But retail prices have yet to go down as well.
We asked Crop Specialist Scott Graves what he thinks the future holds for fertilizer prices.
Graves, with Crop Production Services, says, "Where it's gonna shake out, nobody knows. We're all sitting on pins and needles. Will it be less than what it was this fall? I'm pretty sure that's gonna happen."
Graves told us there's a lot of speculation about fertilizer prices, come planting season.
But he adds there will be a lot of variables, including supply and demand, that will utilimately impact what happens.
