QUINCY, IL -- If 2006 is any indication of progress in the Tri-States, 2007 should prove profitable.
The Great River Economic Development Foundation (GREDF) hosted its annual meeting Wednesday at the Holiday Inn in Quincy.
The meeting turned out to be standing room only.
Dozens of business leaders turned out for a slide-show presentation about economic development in the area in 2006.
GREDF also honored former Illinois Rep. Art Tenhouse for his 17 years in political office.
This year marks President Jim Mentesti's 20th year with GREDF.
