Many seniors are excited to see what the future brings with the new president

QUINCY, IL -- KHQA also stopped into the Quincy Senior Center to talk to some residents about the new president.

Most of them said this is something they never thought they would see in their lifetime.

But they have high hopes for the future.

"I'm looking forward to seeing whats going to be in the future for this country," said resident Owen McGlasson, "and I believe he'll be a blessing for it."

"The whole episode was very moving to me," said resident Morris Cobb, "and I'm thrilled that he's had the chance or got the chance to at least move the country forward in a positive direction."

Most of the residents also agreed that the new president is going to have his hands full with a lot of important issues.
