HANNIBAL, MO -- This weekend's Wing Ding Event in Hannibal drew crowds but also kept the Hannibal Police Department extra busy.

The department says officers were scheduled to work special overtime hours to control the problems that have been caused by this event in the past.

Twelve arrests were made in the 300 block of Warren Barrett between 4:15 and 6:30 p.m. for indecent exposure.

Numerous other arrests were made for driving while intoxicated, assault, and resisting arrest.

Hannibal police say officers will continue to work special duty at events like this one to crack down on crime.
