City of Quincy to get grant for rehabbing properties

QUINCY -- The Illinois Housing Development Authority will get funds to help landlords in the City of Quincy pay for rehabilitation work to properties for low-income families.

The city of Quincy will get a little over $173,000 to administer loans to five local owners of small, eligible rental properties.

The money will allow landlords to conduct repairs on roofs, windows, and plumbing to allow low-income families to stay in their homes.
