(AP) -- IOWA CITY, Iowa - A homecoming ceremony is scheduled for an Iowa Army National Guard unit on duty in Egypt for the past year.
About 90 soldiers with the Iowa City-based Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment of the 109th Medical Battalion return on Monday. A welcome-home celebration is at 5 p.m. at Iowa City West High School.
The solders, who are from units across Iowa, spent the last year in the Sinai Peninsula on peacekeeping duties.
