The Keokuk Fire Department spent the early morning hours battling a house fire.

The fire happened at 4 Park Place at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Crews had the fire under control in about an hour, but stayed on the scene for five hours.

The home is a three-story building and had fire coming from the third story window when crews arrived.

No one was hurt, and the cause of the fire is not known at this time.
