The Quincy Fire Department has one more tool to respond to emergencies.

Jason Traeder the General Manager of Traeder's TNT Yamaha donated the use of a Rhino side-by-side vehicle to the Quincy Fire Department.

Fire Chief Scott Walker says this vehicle would have been very helpful during flood fighting efforts last year.

He says it will be utilized throughout the area by the Technical Rescue and Haz Mat teams during emergencies.

Chief Scott Walker said, "On a lot of sites there's a lot of equipment that has to be moved on rough ground and this will be ideal for that. We can also use it to transport personnel."

Traeder donated use of the vehicle for 12 months.

After that they plan to donate the use of another new side-by-side as part of the Yamaha Law Loan Program.
