Group stands out in the cold for 18 hours for food

Photo
Barry, IL-- It was pretty cold this weekend, but that didn't stop a few people from standing outside to collect food for those in need.

The West Pike Barry Jaycees is standing outside Stroemer Foods in Barry for 18 hours to collect canned goods and donations to keep the Barry food pantry fully stocked.

We talked to the President of the organization, he told us standing in the cold is the least they could do to support their community.

"It just shows what we're willing to do to help out our community," said Bobby Malone with the group.
