QUINCY, Ill. - Tickets are on sale for the Quincy Community Theatre production of "Funny Girl".

"Funny Girl" is set in New York City just prior to and following World War I.

Fanny Brice, a young aspiring comedienne and singer, believes that she is "a great big clump of talent!" and sets out to show the world that her star quality can win over Broadway and fulfill her American dream.

But as Fanny's star rises with the legendary Ziegfeld Follies, her stormy marriage to the charismatic but wayward entrepreneur Nick Arnstein falters.

The score by Jule Styne and Bob Merrill features the hit song "People" and the show-stopper "Don't Rain on My Parade".

Tickets are $20 each and are on sale now in the Online Box Office, which is open 24 hours a day at www.1qct.org.

Tickets also can be purchsed beginning Monday, March 9 at the QCT Box Ofifce located inside the Oakley-Lindsay Center.

Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased with a credit card by calling the QCT Box Office at (217) 222-3209.
