If you're in need of a converter box, good news, the agency that mails them out has received fresh funding from the economic stimulus program.

It expects to eliminate its coupon wait list in two and a half weeks.

The money that pays for the $40 coupons reached its spending limit in early January.

The National Telecommunications and Information Administration was still able to mail out coupons, but only as old ones expired.

It's accumulated a wait list of 2.3 million households.

The NTIA also expects to change its rules so that people who received coupons before but let them expire can now apply for new ones.
