CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) - Coralville police say a man is charged with drunken driving after witnesses reported he was involved in three hit-and-run accidents.

Authorities say 42-year-old Gregory Long, of Coralville, was arrested Saturday afternoon after witnesses identified him and his vehicle as being involved in at least three hit-and-run incidents within minutes.

Long was cited for first-offense operating while intoxicated. A police report says he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.306. The legal limit in Iowa is 0.08.

Authorities say witnesses reported that Long first hit a vehicle and drove off, then rear-ended another vehicle, kept traveling and hit a telephone pole and then drove through the grass in front ofan elementary school.
