CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (AP) — Three escaped inmates accused of stealing guns in Kentucky now face federal firearms charges as police hunt for them in several states.

Lexington-based Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agent George Huffman said Wednesday that arrest warrants have been issued for the three men on the gun charges. The men escaped from an Indiana prison on Friday.

Kentucky State Police say the men attacked three brothers in the northern Kentucky town of Sanders on Monday and stole a truck, guns, cash and clothing.

Troopers have asked police to watch out for the inmates in neighboring Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and Missouri.
