QUINCY, IL -- The drop in energy prices and a slowing market for oil pumps has a direct effect on a Quincy company.

The Gardner Denver company says they're laying off 27 hourly employees in the production shop..

Gardner Denver's C-F-O Helen Cornell says she doesn't expect the employees to be called back in the near future.

The company still has over 400 people on the payroll at it's Quincy facility.
