QUINCY, ILL -- People live with disabilities everyday and kids at Ellington School in Quincy got a chance to see what it is like.
The school partnered up with Blessing Hospital's occupational therapist department to demonstrates different disabilities
Stations where set up around the gym with physical obstacles they had to over come.
Kids walked with leg braces to symbolize polio, moved around in a wheel chair, learned to button a shirt with one arm and many others.
Ken Mansell, the physical education teacher offers this demonstration so kids realize that disabilities don't make a person different.
This was the first of 3 sessions that Mansell will over the next couple of week.
Each week different stations will be set up to educate the kids.
