Illinois cares senior drug program wants more entering online

The Illinois Department on Aging wants seniors to sign up for Gov. Blagojevich's Illinois Cares RX program.

The agency is pushing for seniors to sign up online instead of by paper.

The time to process applications and correct errors has been cut down from 10 weeks to three eeks since going online.

Seniors can also get their checks much faster if they sign up online.

The Quincy Senior Center will hold a another sign up blitz on Friday.
