Latest local news, weather and high school sports for Tri-State area

It was a time of enlightenment Friday morning at Quincy Notre Dame High School as the class seniors took the opportunity to turn the school into a mid-17th century town.

Throughout the morning seniors played the part, everything from Gulliver's Travels to having tableaus in the high school gym.

This is part of the students' study of the 17th century time period.

Food, costumes and discussions were all part of the day long event.
