Beware when using sleep aids, serious side effects

The FDA wants stronger warnings on prescription sleeping pills. The government says drugs like Ambien, Lunesta can cause allergic reactions, sleep walking and even sleep driving. There have also been reports of people making phone calls and eating food in their sleep. Health officials want warning labels changed on more than a dozen brands of sleep aids.

A patient's chance of surviving a heart attack may partly depend on what day it is. A new study found heart attack victims who went to the hospital on the weekend had a higher risk of dying. Researchers say weekend patients are less likely to get prompt emergency surgery. Even so, doctors say people with heart attack symptoms should go immediately to the hospital no matter what day it is.

Fish is not just good for the heart; it may improve your mood too. Fatty fish are packed with omega-3 fatty acids. Researchers found the acids seem to affect areas of the brain associated with emotion.
