Culver Stockton College names 25th president
It's going to be a homecoming of sorts for the next president of Culver Stockton College in Canton.
That's because a 1970 graduate of Culver Stockton College will take over as president on July 1, 2009.
Dick Valentine will replace Dr. Bill Fox, who is leaving to become president at St. Lawrence University in upstate New York.
Valentine is currently the vice president for alumni and development at Transylvania University in Lexington Kentucky.
Valentine has also served Culver Stockton as a member of the Board of Trustees and as former dean of admissions at C-S-C.
He is a native of Mexico, Mo.
