Latest local news, weather and high school sports for Tri-State area

The Quincy Gems baseball team will open their season in about two weeks.

And fans of the team will see some changes at Q-U Stadium when they visit for the frist time.

Gone are the wooden boards that were used for seats. Now each person will have a chair to sit in during the game.

The seats were installed over the past few weeks and will provide more comfortable seating for everyone.

There are also changes throughout the rest of the stadium.
