SPRINGFIELD, ILL -- llinois lawmakers will adjourn for summer session at the end of May and still plenty of work needs to be done.

We spoke with state senator John Sullivan today, he said they passed the capital bill which now goes to the house,

Raising licenses fees, liquor tax and legalizing gambling machines to generate money were part of that bill.

Ethic reform will be dicussed Thursday along with the state budget.

He says the state needs to come up with 6 billion dollars in new revenue, and finding that money could result in cuts.

We also spoke with state representative Jil Tracy Thursday before she went into session that afternoon

She said they would be looking at the Capital budget passed by the Senate on Wednesday.
