Jackpot continues to grow for Illinois lottery
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - There has been another rollover in the grand prize for the Illinois State Lottery's Lotto game - to $4.75 million.
The rollover occurred because no player matched all six winning numbers from Wednesday night's $4.5 million drawing.
The next Lotto drawing will be Saturday night.
Although there was no grand prize winner, 18 players matched five of the six winning numbers - good for second prizes of $986.50 apiece.
Another 940 players matched four of the six numbers and will receive third prizes of $34 apiece.
The winning numbers from Wednesday night's drawing were: nine, 20, 24, 27, 41, and 45.
