The murder trial of the man accused of killing two people in Hannibal earlier this year is headed to St. Charles County on a change of venue.

Judge Robert Clayton II agreed with the defense motion that there was pre trial publicity that would influence the case if it went to trial.

Manuel Cazares was arrested shortly after the murders or 27-year-old Amanda Thomas and 25-year-old Carl Patrick Epley on February 28, 2009.

He was arrested after he walked into the Hannibal Police Department and told police what had happened.

Cazares remains in the Marion County jail on a one million dollar cash only bond.
