Sixty years with Kiwinis earns pin, two plaques

QUINCY, IL -- The Kiwanis Club of Quincy honored one of its longest serving members today.

Bob Mays has been a Kiwanis member for 60 years.

Mays has seen many changes in his years with the group including a multitude of projects and the inclusion of women.

Hesaidhis favorite part about being in the Kiwanis Club are the Monday lunches.

"You can't hardly condense 60 years of 52 Mondays into a sound bite, but it's been wonderful," Mays said.

The Kiwanis presented Mays with a 60-year membership pin and two plaques for his service.
