KHQA will convert to all-digital television this Friday, June 12, starting at about 3 p.m.

KHQA Executive News Director Carol Sowers checked with Claire Robinson with the United Way of Adams County Monday  afternoon.

The United Way and the Quincy Area Partnership for Unmet Needs are working together to provide converter boxes, or government coupons to help buy them, for people who can't afford them.

So far, the agency has given out a total of 46 converter boxes and coupons, and there's still a short waiting list for assistance.

If you could use some help, call United Way's Community Connections in Quincy at (217) 224-1223.
