Iowa could soon have a state fish.
The Senate approved the catfish to be the state's underwater mascot.
Now, it heads to the House.
This move comes after one man pushed the issue for more than 40 years.
George Marzeck of West Burlington started his campaign for the catfish in 1968, but he won't be around to see the fruits of his efforts.
He passed away last September.
