EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Survey teams are assessing damage from severe storms that raked southern Illinois, including determining if any tornadoes touched down.
Meanwhile, about 3,300 Ameren customers remain without power after Monday night's storms.
The National Weather Service says it received three reports of tornadoes in St. Clair County and a fourth report from Calhoun County.
But officials say they won't know for sure until the surveys are completed.
Meteorologists say winds up to 65 mph and hail also hit Perry, Franklin and Williamson counties near the Kentucky border, uprooting trees, damaging buildings and toppling power lines.
But Illinois Emergency Management spokeswoman Patti Thompson says no injuries were reported.
