Reward for stolen property

LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- The Lewis County Sheriff's Department has issued a news release for June 17, 2009:

The Lewis County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the theft of a 10 foot John boat stolen from property located 1.5 miles south of State Highway 156 on 150th Avenue.

This property is located east of Steffenville, Missouri.

The green aluminum boat and oars along with other fishing equipment was taken from the property sometime during the month of May.

The owner of the stolen property is offering a $500.00 reward for the information leading to the arrest , conviction and return of the boat.

Anyone with information regarding this property is asked to contact their local law enforcement or the Lewis County Sheriff's Office at (573) 767-5287.
