Some Illinois River stages cresting expected
Rain over the weekend in the Tri State area has some river's on the way up, while other's are remaining steady.
On the Illinois River, the LaGrange Lock and Dam north of Meredosia is seeing their level at about two feet above flood stage and the crest there is predicted for Thursday.
While in Meredosia, the river level is also about two feet above flood stage and there also expecting a crest on Thursday.
But further down river in Valley City, there about six feet over flood stage, and there crest is expected on Thursday and Friday at 18 feet.
