QUINCY, IL -- A Quincy organization that provides a number of services for at-risk youth faces a risk of its own.

Eight workers at Cornerstone have been told they'll lose their jobs if something doesn't happen with the Illinois budget.

KHQA's Rajah Maples spoke with Executive Director John Hirner about the situation Thursday evening.

He told KHQA Cornerstone has been told that funding will be eliminated from several of its programs, including its child abuse services and homeless youth services.

Cornerstone employs 18 people and provides counseling and case work services to a wide variety of people in the community.
