The Adams County Illinois Coroner confirms the death of a 29 year old Griggsville man last Friday was heat related.

Coroner Gary Hamilton says Tim Kelley was working on a construction site near Valley City when he collapsed and was transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy on Thursday.

He died a day later.

Kelley's obituary says he died from complications of heat stroke.

The high temperature on Thursday reached 91 degrees.

Services for Kelley will be held Tuesday at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield at 2:30 pm.

Visitation will begin at noon and go until the time of service.
