Help is near if you need help paying your electric bill

QUINCY, IL -- The Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials in Quincy say there's money available to help people pay their electric bills this summer through the LI-HEAP program.

[The agency serves a four county region in Western Illinois including; Adams, Brown, Pike & Schuyler.

There are income guidelines for people who apply and the assistance is based on how many people are living in the residence.

All you need when applying is a social security card for all household members, proof of household income for the past 30 days and a current electric bill.
