Four supervised students at state basketball tournament in March

BOWLING GREEN, MO -- The Bowling Green, Mo., school district has released the names of the four employees who resigned after an incident at the state basketball tournament last month.

Those resigning are head boys varsity basketball and baseball coach Trevor Hibbs; intermediate school principal and cheerleading sponsor Annette Fisher; Shari Niemeyer, also a cheerleading sponsor and Title I teacher; and assistant varsity football coach Jonathan Mack.

Those resignations take effect at the end of this school year, but their salaries stop at the end of this month.

Ryan Lowe, another assistant varsity football coach, got a five-day suspension.

A news release from the school district says the resignations and suspension stem from supervision of students at the Missouri Final Four basketball tournament in Columbia.

It also stresses that there were no allegations of sexual misconduct by these individuals.
