Quincy police report armed robbery

QUINCY, ILL -- The Quincy Police Department says they've made one arrest and are looking for two other men that were involved in a armed robbery and aggravated battery on the city's north side on Monday afternoon.

Arrested was 17 year old Devontae Ecford of Quincy. Two other others, 19 year old Ameche Baldwin and a juvenile are still being sought.

Police say an 18 year old man claimed the three suspects hit him on the head with a revolver and also stole his cell phone, money, wallet and clothes.

The victim ran to a house near the incident which happened in the 800 block of Lind.

If you know where Ameche Baldwin is, call either the Quincy Police Department or the Quincy Regional Crimestoppers Hotline at 217-228-4474.

If you call in a tip that leads to their arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
