QUINCY, ILL. -- Madonna House in Quincy has joined the AmpleHarvest.org campaign.

It's a website to help food pantries get fresh produce from area backyard gardeners.

Any family in need can come to Madonna House for a food basket.

The only requirement is to sign an income guideline form.

In an average month, Madonna House provides food items to 60 families (about 160 individuals).

Food pantry hours of operation are Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-noon.
