Program comes to an end

QUINCY, Illinois-  Monday is the last day for car buyers to take advantage of the government's Cash for Clunkers program.

As the program comes to an end  there are many reports of dealers across the country who are upset with how slow the government reimbursements have been.

But Dave Johnson with Dene Lambkin Honda/ Hyundai in Quincy says that's just one small part of really great program.

Johnson says one of the best things about the program is all the new customers they might not have met if not for the program.

Johnson says that his business has been able to move between 70 and 80 cars off the lot through the program.

And depending on how its set up, he would be willing to do the program again.
