QUINCY, IL -- The Quincy City Council did not vote on any of the bond issues for hydropower, the Quincy Public Library and the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center.
The council held the second in a series of public forums about these issues.
The library wants $6.4-million dollars in stimulus package bonding authority to replace an aging HVAC system, improve parking, move the children's department and build a new entry and circulation desk on the west side.
The civic center wants to extend its current bonds for about nine years.
That would raise $1.2-million dollars to cover a number of capital improvements.
The bond issues were tabled until the Tuesday, September 8th meeting.
Another public forum will take place at 6:30 p.m. next Monday, August 31st at the Quincy Senior Center. .
