Hannibal LaGrange College is seeing a record number of students on campus this year.

Move in day is tomorrow, and 509 students are expected to show up, and there will be plenty of room for them.

A new residence hall was dedicated late this afternoon.

Fletcher Hall has two wings, a north and a south, and it's named in honor of a longtime trustee's parents.

It is an all male dorm.

Another all male dorm, Crouch Hall, will be renovated over the next year.

The president of the college told KHQA the new hall was needed to keep up with the growing number of students.

"It speaks to the quality of the program we over. People are hearing about what we offer and the quality that we offer," says Dr. Woodrow Burt.

HLG isn't done expanding, it's in the middle of a capital campaign to build a new library.

After that, the college plans a new science building
