QUINCY, ILL. --

The Quincy School District says there's 37 more students enrolled in the district this year as compared to last year at the same time.

At the elementary school level which includes kindergarten through third grade there are 48 more students, while at Baldwin School there are 44 more students this year compared to last.

Now at Quincy Junior High School there is a slight decrease of 82 students compared to last year and at the high school there are 25 more students enrolled.

We'll check in with Quincy superintendent Lonny Lemon on Friday to get his opinion on what the increase in enrollment could mean for the district.
