Officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Amoco BP Convenience Store in the 600 block of Mark Twain Avenue at 10:12 p.m. last night.
Officers arriving on the scene were told by the clerk that an unknown suspect entered the store and displayed what appeared to be a small caliber handgun and demanded the contents of the cash drawer.
After the clerk turned over the cash the male ran from the store.
The suspect is described as a young white male, 5'2"- 5" 10", wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light pants and a handkerchief over his face.
According to reports no injuries were sustained to the clerk during the robbery.

Hannibal police are investigating a late night armed robbery.
Around 10pm Wednesday at least one person entered the the B.P. gas station on Mark Twain Avenue.
The business was open but no injuries were reported.
We do not know how much was taken from the business.
There is at least one suspect but no further information is available at this time.
