Man dies after falling off ladder

JACKSONVILLE, IL -- A Morgan County man has died after falling 20 feet from a ladder at his home on Thursday.

The Morgan County coroner says 42-year-old Victor Brown of Timbercreek subdivision near Lake Jacksonville was cleaning his gutters, when he fell on a concrete patio.

Brown was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

He died from extensive head trauma.
