Deer crashes in Illinois

The following is a press release from the Illinois Department of Transportation Division of Traffic Safety.

The Illinois Department of Transportation Division of Traffic Safety has released the number of deer crashes in 2008 by County on Wednesday.

Their report is a database of the accumulated totals of deer crashes in Illinois by County of all roads.

In 2008, Adams County saw 417 deer crashes with 16 injuries and zero fatalities.

The total number of Illinois deer crashes was 24,212 with 660 injuries and two fatalities.
