240 kids gone or sent home on Monday
KAHOKA, MO -- Sickness has caused a local school district to cancel classes for the rest of the week.
KHQA's Rajah Maples spoke with Clark County Superintendent Ritchie Kracht Monday afternoon.
He said 240 kids were gone or sent home Monday in the district.
Kracht isn't sure if the sickness is seasonal flu or H1N1, because the Clark County Health Department is not testing to distinguish between the two.
And it's not just the flu--- Kracht said the school district also has seen cases of strep throat.
The superintendent hopes the week off will help get everyone well again and prevent illness from spreading further.
