New director named for Lambert Airport

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis has named a new director of Lambert Airport.

The city said Tuesday that Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge (NEE' bree gee) of Ballwin has 25 years of experience in airport and aviation management.

She has been serving as managing director of American Airlines' St. Louis operation since 2002.

Before that, she worked for Trans World Airlines, Inc., including as vice president of North American operations.

She'll begin the new job Jan. 1, succeeding Richard Hrabko (RAB'-koh) who is retiring.
